Being a dentist is one of the leading jobs in the U.S., with a median salary of $151,850, according to a U.S. News & Worldreport on the best jobs in the country.

Between 2018 and 2028, more than 10,000 jobs are projected to open up to dentists, according to data from the Bureau of Labor Statistics. Data also suggests a 7.6 percent employment growth rate for dentists.
