Oregon is the highest-paying state for specialty dentists in the U.S., with an average annual salary of $285,900, according to new data from the Bureau of Labor Statistics.
The agency updated its salary data May 15 to reflect 2025 information.

3. Texas: $280,030
4. Arizona: $266,340
5. Michigan: $247,360
