Dental careers top 100 Best Jobs list: U.S. News

Three out of the top 10 jobs in the country are related to the dental field, according to U.S. News & World Report, which released its 100 Best Jobs list.

For the ranking, U.S. News used data from the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics. The list identifies jobs with the greatest hiring demand. Additionally, U.S. News compared salaries, employment rates, future job prospects, stress and work-life balance to develop the list.

Below are the top 10 jobs on the list:

1. Software developer
2. Dentist
3. Physician assistant
4. Orthodontist
5. Nurse practitioner
6. Statistician
7. Physician
8. Speech-language pathologist
9. Oral and maxillofacial surgeon
10. Veterinarian
