Highest-paying cities for general dentists in 2024

The Bridgeport-Stamford-Norwalk, Conn., area is the highest-paying metropolitan region for dentists, according to new data from the Bureau of Labor Statistics.

The federal agency released updated salary information to reflect 2023 data April 3.

Here are the top-paying metropolitan and nonmetropolitan areas for dentists:
