New Jersey has the highest Medicaid adult dental care utilization percentage of any state, with 32% utilization, according to data from the American Dental Association’s Health Policy Institute.

Overall, the U.S. has a combined 18% dental care utilization rate for adults, which is defined by any individual between the ages of 21 and 64.
