The New Hampshire Board of Dental Examiners claims Blake Wullbrandt, DDS, overused restraints and nitrous oxide, performed unnecessary dental work and did not fully obtain informed consent for some procedures between 2005 and 2017.
In seven cases between 2013 and 2018 the dental board alleges Dr. Wullbrandt used “excessive and/or lengthy” restraints that may have caused patients physical or emotional harm.
Additionally, the dental board claims in two cases between 2012 and 2014 Dr. Wullbrandt used nitrous oxide without a specific behavioral reason. In three other cases between 2012 and 2017, the dentist allegedly performed extensive or invasive dental work while using nitrous oxide and local anesthesia.
Dr. Wullbrandt will face the dental board during a hearing Nov. 8. The dentist declined to comment to the SentienlSource.com.
