Latest COVID-19 closures in California don’t affect dental practices

California Gov. Gavin Newsom halted indoor operations for many businesses July 13 to slow the transmission of COVID-19, the California Dental Association reports.

Currently, the restrictions don’t affect essential healthcare services, including dental care.

Dentists are advised to closely follow state recommendations and have two weeks of personal protective equipment available.
