Richard Nagy, DDS, president of the California Dental Association, shared dental infection control recommendations with The North Bay Business Journal.

"We're actually recommending no water sprays, don't use the Cavitron during a cleaning and don't polish," Dr. Nagy said.

In addition, dentists should conduct temperature checks and screening questionnaires for all patients and staff.
