Dental providers can find the latest information on COVID-19 booster shots from the American Dental Association's updated COVID-19 vaccination fact sheet.
On Sept. 22, the FDA authorized a third single booster dose of Pfizer's vaccine to be administered six months after the second dose for the following Americans:
• Individuals 65 years or older.
• Individuals ages 18-64 who are at high risk of severe COVID-19.
• Individuals ages 18-64 whose frequent institutional or occupational exposure to the virus puts them at high risk of serious complications of COVID-19, such as healthcare professionals.
