COVID-19 vaccinations, flu shots offered at Western Dental parking lot before Super Bowl

The community event took place Feb. 12 from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. in Inglewood, Calif., less than a mile from the Feb. 13 Super Bowl site. Vaccines were administered by Walgreens licensed pharmacists in the parking lot of a Western Dental office.

“These resources come at a crucial time in the pandemic,” said Edwin Rivera, Western Dental’s senior vice president of external engagement. “Though vaccines have been available to the public for nearly a year, not all areas have had equal access to them. We are happy to be a partner in expanding access to both initial vaccinations and booster shots via this event.”

At the Becker's 5th Annual Future of Dentistry Roundtable, taking place September 14-15 in Chicago, dental leaders and executives will gain insights into emerging technologies, practice growth strategies and the evolving landscape of dental care delivery, with a focus on innovation, patient experience and operational excellence.
