The American Dental Association has launched its Certified Clinic Director program to provide training to dentists serving in leadership roles at dental clinics.
The ADA is currently accepting applications for the program, which will take place from October to March. The first cohort will include about 50 dentists, the ADA said.
The program includes two live webinars and two e-learning modules each month. Topics covered included clinical operations, regulatory compliance, financial management and strategic leadership. By the end of the program, dentists will have earned 35 continuing education credits along with a certificate of completion.
Applications for the program close Aug. 11.
At the Becker's 5th Annual Future of Dentistry Roundtable, taking place September 14-15 in Chicago, dental leaders and executives will gain insights into emerging technologies, practice growth strategies and the evolving landscape of dental care delivery, with a focus on innovation, patient experience and operational excellence.
