The American Dental Association is launching a leadership development program as part of its inclusion and equity initiatives.

The Leadership Institutes is the first of four directives the ADA Board of Trustees adopted earlier this year to support inclusion and equity within the organization’s member engagement and professional outreach activities.

The 15-month program will include virtual learning and workshops tailored to leadership pathways within participants’ respective regions, according to a March 14 news release.

The program is open to active, licensed dentists and third-year dental students in the U.S. The ADA will select 30 dentists and 10 dental students to participate each year.
