The American Dental Hygienists’ Association has released its 2025 Standards for Clinical Dental Hygiene Practice, the first comprehensive update since 2016.
The ADHA said March 20 that the newest edition emphasizes the integration of social determinants of health and risk assessment into clinical practice while reinforcing evidence-based care.
Other updates include an expanded diagnosis framework that incorporates systemic health considerations and a new process of care model.
At the Becker's 5th Annual Future of Dentistry Roundtable, taking place September 14-15 in Chicago, dental leaders and executives will gain insights into emerging technologies, practice growth strategies and the evolving landscape of dental care delivery, with a focus on innovation, patient experience and operational excellence.
