Dental exam administrator CDCA-WREB-CITA has merged with the American Board of Dental Examiners to create a single entity. 

The governing bodies of both organizations approved the merger in August, according to a news release shared with Becker’s

The new American Board of Dental Examiners serves 98% of dental licensure candidates and 85% of dental hygiene licensure candidates in the U.S. through its exams.

The organization said it will focus on streamlining exam development and delivery, strengthening relationships, and ensuring every component of the dental licensure process reflects the highest standards.
