Researchers conducted an online survey at three dental schools in Michigan, Florida and Utah, and one allopathic medical school in Michigan. Overall, 248 dental students and 167 medical students completed the survey between September 2020 and December 2020.
The results highlight the need for profession-specific curriculum designed to enhance student knowledge about the COVID-19 vaccine, according to the researchers.
