Straumann Group launches dental implant navigation system

Straumann Group has developed Straumann Falcon, a surgical navigation system to aid with dental implant procedures.

The navigation system helps oral surgeons increase precision and accuracy by providing a real-time, 3D visualization of surgical instruments, according to a March 14 news release from the company.

Straumann Falcon also utilizes cone-beam computed tomography and intraoral scans to help during the planning process.

Increased confidence and accuracy with the system will lead to fewer complications and improved patient experiences, according to the news release.
