The resin, used alongside SprintRay’s 3D printing workflow, allows dentists to create removable dentures in office, according to a May 22 news release from SprintRay.
High Impact Denture Base is the first ceramic-infused material that can be used for 3D printing of dentures. The dentures can be created in less than 72 hours of submitting the design, reducing the number of visits and wait time for patients to receive their dentures, the release said.
At the Becker's 5th Annual Future of Dentistry Roundtable, taking place November 12–14 in Chicago, dental leaders and executives will gain insights into emerging technologies, practice growth strategies and the evolving landscape of dental care delivery, with a focus on innovation, patient experience and operational excellence.
