OrthoPulse 2.0 is used in addition to clear aligners or traditional bracket braces. The technology utilizes light energy to stimulate the bone surrounding tooth roots, leading to faster and more predictable tooth movement, according to a July 8 news release.

To guide the U.S. launch, the company appointed Michael Hendricks as chief business officer of North America.

The mouthpiece is the first device of its kind that is FDA-approved for use with both aligners and braces, according to the company’s website.

At the Becker's 5th Annual Future of Dentistry Roundtable, taking place November 12–14 in Chicago, dental leaders and executives will gain insights into emerging technologies, practice growth strategies and the evolving landscape of dental care delivery, with a focus on innovation, patient experience and operational excellence.
