Osstem submitted a final bid for ZimVie and is setting up financing for a possible deal.

While the talks are in advanced stages, the acquisition is not completed, as the deal could still fall apart or other buyers could emerge, according to individuals with knowledge of the process.

Osstem is the fourth-largest dental implant material manufacturer in the world. The company acquired Medit, a 3D dental scanner company, for $2 billion in 2022.

ZimVie sold its spine business for $375 million to H.I.G. Capital earlier this year.

Representatives from Osstem and ZimVie declined to comment to Bloomberg, the report said.
