Align Technology awards funding to 12 universities for orthodontic research

Align Technology recently awarded $300,000 in grants to 12 universities around the world to support orthodontic and dental research.

The awards were given as part of the company’s Annual Research Award Program, according to a June 2 news release.

The universities that received grants are located in the U.S., Canada, Brazil, Belgium, Italy, China and Australia. The two schools from the U.S. that received grants are the University of Florida in Gainesville and the University of Rochester in New York.
