The new scanner’s field of capture is three times larger, and the wand is 50% smaller and 45% lighter, according to a Jan. 31 news release from Align.
The iTero Lumina also has a larger capture distance of up to 25 millimeters and captures more data and detail compared to other iTero scanners.
Registration for the new scanner will open Feb. 1, the release said.
