Lupin Dental, a dental robotics and technology company based in France, closed on a series A financing round of about $17.4 million.
The company’s robotic system is a supervised automated robotic platform for minimally invasive tooth preparation in aesthetic veneer procedures, according to an Aug. 28 news release from Lupin Dental.
Currently, the system is approved for clinical use in India and the United Kingdom.
The financing round was led by Fynveur with participation from existing shareholders.
In addition to the investment, Fynveur’s advisor, Invus, will join Lupin Dental’s board of directors, the release said.
