Baltimore dentist 1st in area to use Yomi robot system

Kira Toulson, DDS, of Dental Care of Baltimore in Owings Mills, Md., is the first dentist in Baltimore County to utilize the Yomi Robotic Dental System, according to a July 10 news release from CBS News Baltimore

The system helps increase the speed, efficiency and accuracy of dental implant procedures, consolidating the process from more than a month to a few days, according to the release. 

The Yomi robot is manufactured by Neocis and is the only FDA-cleared robot-assisted dental surgery system in the U.S.
