Orlando, Fla.-based Standard Dental Labs has signed a letter of intent to acquire an unnamed dental laboratory in the Tampa Bay region.
The identity of the laboratory and details of its operations remain confidential. The transaction is subject to due diligence and the negotiation of definitive agreements, according to a June 26 news release.
The LOI is part of the company’s strategy to build a regional network of dental labs throughout Florida. The company acquired Sarasota-based BRLIT Dental Laboratory earlier this year, along with Clearwater-based Dream Dentistry Labs in November.
