South Korea-based MegaGen Implant has established a philanthropic partnership with the USC Herman Ostrow School of Dentistry in Los Angeles.

The gift includes a named professorship and will also provide supplies and equipment for USC Ostrow programs and students to support clinical and research collaboration in implant dentistry and periodontology.

The partnership extends MegaGen’s academic network to North America, according to an Oct. 29 news release. The company already works with institutions in Europe, Asia and the Middle East.

MegaGen bought the assets of dental laser company Biolase in 2024 for more than $20 million.
