ZimVie, a spinoff of the dental and spine business units of Zimmer Biomet, has launched Biotivity A/C Plus Membrane.
The membrane, used during dental bone grafting procedures as a protective membrane, serves as a foundation for dental implant placements, according to an Oct. 10 news release from ZimVie.
Biotivity A/C Plus Membrane is not treated with antibiotics during processing, setting it apart from other A/C membranes.
The product expands ZimVie’s presence in the U.S. dental biomaterials market, the release said.
