$10.1M+ dental money doled out in January — See who got what

Here’s the breakdown:

1. An anonymous University of California San Francisco School of Dentistry alumnus donated $10 million to the school, the largest donation in the dental school’s history.

2. The nonprofit United Way of Champaign County (Ill.) invested $150,000 over three years to help cover the salary of a second dentist at Promise Healthcare’s SmileHealthy Frances Nelson Dental Center in Champaign, according to The News-Gazette.

3. The Northeast Delta Dental Foundation gave Plymouth, N.H.-based Speare Memorial Hospital’s Dental Health — a dental program that provides free or low-cost dental services to children — $2,500 for dental supplies, according to The Laconia Daily Sun.
