Utah has 1,582 active dentists in the state, according to data from the Kaiser Family Foundation.

The minimum cost of living in Utah is $32,408 while the average salary for dentists is $134,570, according to data from the Bureau of Labor Statistics and the Massachusetts Institute of Technology’s Living Wage Calculator.
