The new clinic, which will be called the Miramar Health Center, is expected to open as early as 2021.
Clinicians will offer medical and dental services as well as provide a pharmacy to patients even if they can’t pay. The Miramar Health Center will accept Medicaid and most health insurance.
Yakima Valley Farm Workers Clinic expects to employ around 70 people at the new center, including eight healthcare providers. The building will feature 26 exam rooms, two minor procedure rooms and a consult room.
