Each of the three schools will receive $8,000 from the ISDS Foundation’s dental education endowment fund.

Here are the three schools and how they plan to use the additional funds:

  • UIC College of Dentistry (Chicago): Upgrade its common space by installing display monitors and adding more power and data.
  • Midwestern University College of Dental Medicine-IL (Downers Grove): Purchasing materials for dental printing appliances including dental resins, as well as the upkeep of the 3D printing system.
  • SIU School of Dental Medicine (Alton): Increasing funds for the school’s children’s oral health prevention program, which brings dental care to early childhood and elementary schools.

At the Becker's 5th Annual Future of Dentistry Roundtable, taking place September 14-15 in Chicago, dental leaders and executives will gain insights into emerging technologies, practice growth strategies and the evolving landscape of dental care delivery, with a focus on innovation, patient experience and operational excellence.
