After Minnesota college shutters, dental hygiene students get lifeline

Former Eagan, Minn.-based Argosy University dental hygiene students will be able to finish their degrees at another college in the Minneapolis-Saint Paul metro area, according to Fox9.

Argosy University abruptly shut down earlier this year due to financial issues, leaving students scrambling to complete their degrees.

White Bear Lake, Minn.-based Century College has accepted 35 former dental hygiene seniors to complete their finial credits. The students are expected to begin their last classes in June and earn their degrees in August.

Century College received approval from the Commission on Dental Accreditation to enroll the former Argosy students. Century College has also agreed to cover students' tuition and scholarships.
