Dental equipment manufacture A-dec has acquired Dean Dental Systems, effective July 16.
Four things to know:
1. Dean Dental Systems is a Midwest-based manufacturer of mechanical room solutions. The company was founded in 2012 and operated by Bill Henning and Patrick Hertel.
2. Per the acquisition, Dean Dental Systems will continue to operate at their Fenton, Mo., headquarters. A-dec will create products under the Dean Dental Systems by A-dec brand name.
3. Financial terms of the acquisition were not disclosed.
4. A-dec has more than 1,300 employees who manufacture dental chairs, delivery systems, dental lights and dental furniture in more than 100 countries.
