Tennessee promotes personal oral health habits with ‘Smile Power Week’

Tennessee Gov. Bill Lee declared June 15-19 the state’s fifth annual Smile Power Week, according to a June 15 news release.

Smile Power Week encourages community members to recognize the importance of preventive care and good oral health habits.

Mr. Lee also aims to celebrate the care and education provided by the state’s charitably run dental clinics during Smile Power Week. He made his announcement in partnership with the Tennessee Charitable Care Network, which consists of more than 50 safety-net healthcare clinics.
