Tennessee dentist dies after skiing accident

A Tennessee dentist died Dec. 23 after suffering severe injuries from a skiing accident, reports WJHL.

Nathan Dale Willis, DDS, died at Johnson City (Tenn.) Medical Center after an incident at Beech Mountain (N.C.) Ski Resort, Matt Korell, a pastor at the church Dr. Willis attended, told WJHL.

The 59 year-old was a practicing dentist at Bristol, Tenn.-based Alamont Dental Associates. The practice posted the following Facebook statement Dec. 23: “With heavy hearts, we would like to share with our Alamont family of patients and friends that Dr. Nathan Dale Willis has gone to be with the Lord Jesus. He was a passionate Christian and had a true servant’s heart. He was devoted to his family, his church, and his patients. He leaves a legacy of compassion and faith. Please pray for his family during this incredibly tough time.”
