3 dentists making headlines

From two leadership changes at dental institutions to a dental practice reaching a settlement to resolve allegations against it, here are the latest dentists making headlines:

David Johnsen, DDS, will step down as dean of the University of Iowa's College of Dentistry in Iowa City after a mass email sparked controversy for condemning an executive order issued by former President Donald Trump.

Brighton, Mass.-based Amity Dental Center and Christina Hsu, DDS, agreed to settle allegations that they refused to accept MassHealth members seeking treatment.

Philadelphia-based Penn Dental Medicine named Marc Henschel, DDS, to lead its new Advanced Education in General Dentistry program.
