Richmond-based Virginia Commonwealth University School of Dentistry has named Awab Abdulmajeed, DDS, director of its international dentist program, the school said Feb. 9.
In his new role, Dr. Abdulmajeed will provide oversight and work with the school's admissions team to recruit students outside of the U.S. for the program.
Dr. Abdulmajeed joined VCU in February 2020. He previously served as director of the advanced restorative and digital dentistry course and co-director of two of the school's pre-clinical restorative dentistry courses.
