A dentist in La Crosse, Wis., is gathering medical supplies to donate to Ukraine amid the country's conflict with Russia, CBS affiliate WKBT reported March 10.
Victoria Alexander, DDS, who was born in Ukraine, is partnering with Gundersen Health System to gather donations such as exam gloves, wound care supplies and chest tubes that Dr. Alexander will then help deliver to Ukraine.
The group's first shipment was packed March 10, the news station reported.
