The funds will be used to update equipment in clinics and allow clinics to increase capacity for patients with special needs, according to a Nov. 17 news release from the university.

The grant will help support the school’s clinics, including the Advanced Care Clinic, which provides care to adult patients.

The school has a Special Needs Dental Education Program, which offers dental students the opportunity to observe special needs pediatric dental care, the release said.
