Dentist salary in the best states to find a job

Washington is the best state to find a job, according to personal finance website WalletHub, and the average dentist salary there is $182,500, above the national average of $167,760 according to the Bureau of Labor Statistics.

WalletHub compared states across their job market and economic environment with an increased weight on the former. The website then evaluated the two dimensions using 35 metrics, including job security, employee benefits and average commute time. The Bureau of Labor Statistics updated wage and salary data for several dental specialties March 31 to reflect 2021 information.
