 1. CMS proposed paying for more dental services as part of its proposed Calendar Year 2023 Physician Fee Schedule. 

2. A recent CDC study found that COVID-19 vaccines were more effective during the winter omicron surge, when BA.1 accounted for most cases, than they were this spring, when BA.2/BA.2.12.1 prevailed.

3. The White House is considering plans to make second COVID-19 boosters available to all adults as part of a larger strategy to combat a rise in cases and hospitalizations driven by the BA.5 omicron subvariant.

4. HHS ordered 2.5 million Jynneos doses from Bavarian Nordic as the CDC reported nearly 2,000 monkeypox cases in the U.S.
