Frantz Brignol, DMD, amassed more than $600,000 in tax liabilities, according to an Aug. 4 news release from the Department of Justice. Between 2014 and 2020, Dr. Brignol evaded tax payments by hiding money in his mother’s bank accounts, trading funds overseas in his mother’s name and making false statements on financial disclosure forms. He pleaded guilty in April.

He is scheduled to be sentenced Nov. 9.
