1. Lehi, Utah-based Shasta Dental Services added two California orthodontic practices to its network.
2. Licensed dentists in California can set up a vaccination program in their offices where they can administer the flu vaccine and COVID-19 vaccines.
3. A Los Angeles man was arrested for pretending to be a dental hygienist.
4. Ranjan Rajbanshi, DDS, who ran a dental practice in Bakersfield and Santa Barbara, pleaded guilty to stealing $500,000 in COVID-19 relief money.
5. California dentist Douglas Grosmark, DMD, retired after 34 years in the industry.
6. Zaid Sharma, DDS, was arrested after a hidden video camera was found in the bathroom of his California dental practice.
