CareQuest Innovation Partners is a for-profit subsidiary of Boston-based CareQuest Institute for Oral Health that focuses on oral healthcare solutions.
The 12-week Smile Health program was launched in March to support early-stage startups prioritizing oral healthcare equity.
The organization’s industry partners will work to develop solutions for the startup companies to help them become market-ready and gain access to capital and customers. Fourteen partners have joined, including Waltham, Mass.-based DSO 42 North Dental, oral health product company Colgate, teledentistry company MouthWatch and the Columbia University College of Dental Medicine in New York City.
CareQuest said April 21 it also has more than $1 million in available investment capital to support the startups.
