Tennessee dental school opens 2 clinic sites

The University of Tennessee Health Science Center College of Dentistry opened two student clinical rotation sites.

The clinic sites are in Crossville and Knoxville, Tenn., according to a Sept. 25 news release from the university. 

Fourth-year dental students will gain clinical experience under faculty supervision during the rotations. The Knoxville rotation also gives the students the opportunity to spend time at the general practice residency program at the University of Tennessee Medical Center. 

The university also has clinical sites in Union City, Bristol and Chattanooga, Tenn., the release said.
