San Luis Obispo and Yolo counties in California implemented vaccination orders that include dental office staff.
Yolo County issued an influenza vaccination order and San Luis Obispo County issued an influenza and COVID-19 vaccination order, according to an Oct. 12 news release from the California Dental Association.
The orders go into effect Nov. 1 and run through April 30, 2024.
Six other counties and two cities in California have already issued similar vaccination orders for dental practices and other healthcare facilities, the release said.
