Former dental office employee sentenced to prison for stealing $20K+

A former employee of a Pennsylvania dental practice was sentenced to at least 12 months in prison for stealing more than $20,000 in cash from the practice, wpxi.com reported Oct. 20. 

Kimberly Cook worked as a clerk at Generational Dental Associates in Cranberry Township, Pa., for two years. Police said Ms. Cook admitted to stealing the money. She was charged with two counts of felony theft in May. 

In addition to her prison sentence, Ms. Cook will pay $80,000 in restitution.
