Here are four dental industry updates that have taken place in California since Oct. 20:
1. Bond Orthodontic Partners added New Age Braces in Cupertino, Calif., to its network. It also added Beglin Orthodontics, which has five offices throughout California and Nevada.
2. Apple Valley Smiles and Orthodontics, a dental practice in Apple Valley, Calif., was hit by a car Nov. 1.
3. Four people were injured after a car crashed into Amor Dentistry, a children's dental practice in South Los Angeles.
4. A judge ruled that the California Dental Association and individual dentist-plaintiffs could continue to pursue their claims against Delta Dental of California.
