Here are seven updates on the oral surgery space that Becker's has reported on since Jan. 5:
1. Hackensack, N.J.-based Max Surgical Specialty Management expanded into New York and Vermont.
2. Marshfield Clinic Health System, an integrated health system with more than 60 locations in Wisconsin and Michigan, will discontinue its oral surgery services beginning Jan. 31.
3. St. Louis-based Oral Surgery Partners received a credit expansion of more than $400 million to invest in the company's infrastructure and complete additional acquisitions.
4. Viper Partners, an advisory and investment firm, closed several oral surgery deals in 2023.
5. Irving, Texas-based U.S. Oral Surgery Management promoted Jade Vardeman to vice president of surgeon recruitment.
6. Little Rock, Ark.-based Rock Dental Brands expanded its network with four practice affiliations, including Arkansas Oral & Facial Surgery Center, which has three locations.
7. Charlotte, N.C.-based Flagship Specialty Partners recently added Virginia Oral & Facial Surgery to its network, its first partner practice in the state.
