Heather Eilander, a hygienist, contacted the owner of Montezuma Smiles Dental Clinic after learning that the practice was set to close.

Ms. Eilander and her husband purchased the clinic April 1 and began remodeling and hiring staff for the office, which is now named Montezuma Dental Clinic.

The new office opened June 3. It currently features four dental chairs, but two more are planned as part of future expansion plans, Ms. Eilander told the Union.
