1. The California Dental Association has issued a warning to dentists statewide about imposter calls that are potentially part of a payment-demand scam.

2. A bill that would expand the treatments dental assistants are authorized to perform under dentists’ supervision was introduced to the California Legislature Feb. 16.

5. The University of California San Francisco School of Dentistry received $22,033,043 in funding from the National Institutes of Health in 2021.
